Currently we are looking for:
Cleaner
Help Keep us Spick and Span
Can you help make our meeting place sparkle so that it’s ready for another action packed week of Scouting activities? Yes?
12th Chichester Scout Headquarters is used not only by our members but it is regularly booked by other community groups throughout the week.
We need someone that can spare an hour or so on a weekly basis to ensure our facilities are clean and tidy.
Quartermaster
Believe it or not, you don’t have to work with children to be a volunteer for Scouting.
A lot of our activities depend on having the necessary equipment in good working order, so we’re looking for someone who can spare some of their time to help make sure that our stores are managed effectively, keeping inventories and keeping the equipment in good condition.
This is a role that wouldn’t need you to be in the hut every week, and can be managed flexibly for someone who wants to be more hands on in their support.
Fundraiser
Are you a money-maker Extraordinaire?
Can you help fund a future? Are you fizzing with fundraising ideas? Are you equally at home organising a cake sale as a sponsored Digital Detox? Then we need your energy and initiative to help us.
12th Chichester Scouts needs a group of fundraisers to help support our activities and improve our facilities. Raising extra funds means we can provide a wider range of exciting opportunities to our young people.
No specific time commitment is required and the role is flexible enough to fit around you.
We’ll provide full support and training.
Team Members
Make a difference
Would you like the chance to canoe, climb and make bird boxes while improving your CV?
As a Team Member in the 12th Chichester Scout Group you will do all of this and more, using your current skills and learning new ones.
We need fun, committed people to support young people, helping run games and activities as part of weekly meetings. As part of a small team, you will help plan and deliver a safe and exciting programme for young people, helping them achieve badges and awards.
Enthusiasm, an empathy with young people and a sense of humour are a must. But we can teach you the rest. We’ll support you all the way and ensure you get the training and support you need.
Do any of these roles appeal to you, or do you have other skills that you might like to share, then please get in touch using the form above or email us with your name and we can have a no obligation chat.
